About Kim Hyun Joong

2010 was such a great great year for Kim Hyun Joong.. But it wasn't easy though. As we all know, with great power comes great great responsibility...

The year started quite bumpy for Hyun Joong when the scandal about him attending an EX- President's Birthday Party with his then boss, the DSP President. He was badly criticized for that. But we know he's on the right track and even made an assurance to his fans that after that, the truth would be known... He went MIA for months...

Until February came along for SS501's Persona Concert in Bangkok.. By that, we were rest assured he did fine. But of course, we dont know how he felt.. But whatever it takes, he was ok.. And it felt good seeing him happy and all with his SS501 brothers..

Then came SS501's Persona Encore In Seoul.. He looked great as ever lashing out his sexiness on his JITJOONG number.. But then, for the first time ever, he cried in front of everyone at Persona crowd... That was the time everyone felt he did endured some pain... But was trully grateful for all the support..


Months after, SS501 announced that they will have a comeback with their album DESTINATION and everyone just got sooo ecstatic.. They aimed to comeback with the date 5-01 (May 1) but for some apparent reason, it did not push through. However, they did not disappoint as they still showed great photos from their album.As their comeback is set, Kim Hyun Joong shocked all Triple S and even the whole Kpop world when it was announced that he had an accident and he was hurt. Dream Concert is fast approaching and they were to perform their first single.. However, because he is still recovering, they werent able to perform the said song. But they did sang Let Me Be The One, and every Triple S loved seeing the group, and him, together, and well..



June 4, 2010. The day every Triple S have been waiting for... The much anticipated comeback of the boys with their album Destination. The boys did really really GREAT with their comeback and gained top spot a just a week after their first performance for the song...


But... as every Triple S knows, June 8 marks the end of SS501's 5 Year Contract with DSP. But SS501 boys kept mum about their future plans together. However, the boys made Triple S worried when all of them, particularly, Park Jung Min cried hard while at their fan meeting to mark the end of their Love Ya Promotions, for just 2 weeks...

Then came his manila visit... June 17, 2010... An Angel Arrived in Manila for his Charity Concert. And what a great man he is! He stayed at Philippines for almost a week! After his manila visit came the most shocking news of all.. Leader left DSP and transferred to Bae Yong Joon's agency, KEYEAST. One of the hardest times in his career as he got numerous comments pertaining to him leaving SS501 behind. His departure from DSP was touted by some as marking the end of SS501. However, Leader, and even his SS501 members reiterated that SS501 IS NOT DISBANDED and will just focus on their solo careers...
